Anyone know if that's Keohane from Wexford Youths? Great if it is. There was no Keohane in the original squad so it was a late call up if it is.

Edit *Just checked FAI match report and it is him. Great stuff.

Republic of Ireland 2:0 Albania

Andy Boyle of UCD played for the full 90 minutes.

That result should confirm the qualification to the Elite Phase. But a win against Italy in their last game may make it easier in the next round.

We are in the elite phase along with Italy. The top 2 in eeach group and the 2 best 3rds go through.

Thanks, I was also hoping UEFA may pair two winners and two Runners-up/best losers in each group in the Elite Phase.

Italy got a couple of late goals against San Marino, Italy only started scoring after 70 mins. So a win is now needed to go above them.
(that's if they base the seeding on the First Round).

Any reason why we only have a squad of 15 for todays game?

No Ronan Murray. He was booked in the first game, got a couple of goals aswell.

Italy have scored two in two minutes.

Seemed like a tightly balanced first half Italy all over them in the second if the minute by minute is anything to go by.

Italy 2-0 Ireland final score.

Gavin Gunning sent off shortly after the goals conceded. Anybody have any kind of match report? From the stats on uefa.com it seems Italy may have dictated much of the game.

Also, I noticed we had 3 subs missing. Is that because they were called up to the 21s? In any case, why weren't 3 new players called up?
