Highlights and Lowlights of 2009

High:
Finding out Cork had scored to beat Rovers :D
Jason Byrne scoring the winner in the oval(first non-dublin(or wicklow) away game)
joey ndo scoring against red bull, murphys rediculous save towards the end.
some of the goals by all teams were exceptional this season
fingal in the cup against bray-magestic
Low:
Salzburg
finding out galway had scored against rovers, i wanted to take it to the last day for the sheer epicness of it

Great to see that we featured in a few "lows" for other fans. NOW that's how you measure success! :D :cool:

Highlight: beating Mervue in Galway and the feeling of belief that we had actually turned the corner and could survive.

Lowlight: So many to pick from but I'll go for Wexford in Station Road and the team looked like they were playing for a draw even though we NEEDED a win. Then to add insult to injury we conceded a goal in the last minute to lose 2-1. Also losing 8-0 to Sporting Fingal was pretty bad. And walking in to Flancare Park after watching Ireland win the grand slam on TV just in time to see Longford's opener in another trouncing.

Highlights: Pats' run in Europe. Drogheda staying up. MNS. Jason Byrne's Tom The Gom impression.

Lowlights: Derry's demise. Lack of fans. Disinterest from media. UCD and Sporting Fingal getting promoted.

High: Beating the Russians in Europe, Beating Bohs 3-1, coming back from being 1 nil down against Drogheda for a vital win...

Low: Shambles of a league, Getting knocked out of the cup by Waterford, Getting beaten 3-0 on the first game of the season...
