When I heard on Saturday that Derry were being thrown out of the league, I felt a bit sorry for them and the way we will miss the games between us. To day the full story is coming out and it clearly shows that Derry City have been cheating on the rest of the league for some time. What a disgrace the board of Derry City are and its disgusting how low they have stooped to try and achieve success. In my opinion they should be banned for a couple of years before they are accepted back at any level under FAI direction. Hope Delaney stands up to his promise of giving the players involved a time limit to come with their hands up and admit what they have been up to and let them explain that as well to inland revenue.
We sometimes complain about the running of our own club but we have never stooped as low as Derry and from talking to a senior executive of Rovers I understand our house is totally in order on all financial aspect of the business.
