We're being eye-balled and tut-tutted by a man in his late thirties who has a ponytail, is wearing a led Zeppelin t-shirt and reading a Cecelia ahern novel (i think the juice incident distracted him).

Should I just slap him, and if yes, how?
Respond quickly, he's nearly finished his soup!

Closest to what Magicme suggested (although about ten minutes after I posted) at which stage I was called something that sounds like bullocks, I told him i wasn't going to argue with him until he had progressed to reading Marian keyes
