Anyone have any information on where I can watch either of the France games in Sydney?
Used to be The Gaelic Club, but that seems to be just a music venue these days? Anyone help?
[I don't have Foxtel]
Been a few years since I was there but Scruffy Murphys used to show the games when
I lived in Sydney. Also seen a couple of games in Easts in Bondi Junction.
There was also some Irish club place out in Paramatta but cant think of the name of it.
Actually that might be the Gaelic Club

I watched the Georgia home game in Scruffys at 7am last year. They never close and have Fox, ESPN, Setanta etc. Check if any of the stations are carrying it, otherwise you'll have to ring the irish clubs to see whether they have a dish to get RTE in (if that's even possible?).
Also could get an Internet place and try get a stream. Everywhere Internet on corner of Liverpool/Castlereagh Streets should be open at 6 or 7.

In Sydney?
Try any of those **** hole irish bars like Scruffys...
Melbourne: Celtic Club, Charles Dickens, Bridies (Little Collins)... or worst case scenario, the Casino
Given that its a 7am start, i duno if any of the pubs will open for it - but in fairness they'd be stupid not to... Celtic club are advertising that they're open Thursday morning for the 2nd leg so i cant see why they wouldnt do the same on Sunday

Losch,
Sydney.
I'm trying, at all costs to avoid Scruffys.
Pretty much any other public house in Sydney would be preferable.

I guess you'll just have to ring around a few of the bars in Sydney & ask them... I'm in Melbourne so can't remember too many of the places up there off hand. Somewhere will have to be showin it... otherwise, you've 6 days left to try to 'make friends' with someone who has Foxtel :D

Melbourne: Celtic Club & Bridie O'Reilly's are NOT opening for it on Sunday morning
... When I rang Bridie's some gobsh*te at the end of the phone (irish by the way) said "No, we're not opening for it because it's "not a big enough game to get people in"  ehhhhhhhhh... the mind boggles...
Casino will have it on - with no sound as per usual which is absolutely rubbish...

I just rang the Charles Dickens, they said they are showing it live, 7am.
Does anyone fancy meeting up there for a liquid breakfast?
