Skype Trouble

Folks,

Trying to download Skype onto the laptop here this evening and hitting some trouble, just wondering if anyone knows where I can rectify the problem...

When I click to download the file (Skype_2.8.0.722.dmg) it saves onto the desktop okay, but when I click it nothing happens at all....Using a MacBook, Mac OS X 10.4.11

Any ideas what's going wrong?

I'm going to install Skype on my MacBook this evening, I'll see if it works.

Yep works for me, although I'm Mac OSX 10.5, maybe taht's the problem?

I presume you dragged the dmg into the applications folder.

Yep that's what I did and it worked grand..

Only getting round to this again - yep, twas spot on A Face. Good old foot.ie to the resuce again
