FAI Selling Vantage Club Tickets

I remember a thread here a few months ago about the FAI ringing people on the block booking waiting list looking for them to buy Vantage Club tickets, but I cant' seem to find it now.. I remember getting the call from them, and they were quite forceful in saying that only a small number of the current waiting list would get upgraded to BB status. It seems the FAI had worked out months and months ago that they were only going to upgrade a few to BB status.

Got a letter from them the other day. Only 49 people on the waiting list where offered block booking. Of course I was not one of those 49:(

they are hardly going to say "you have a good chance of becoming a BB now do you waat to upgrade to the Vantange club at nearly 3 times the cost ?":(
