Sligo Rovers are holding a Dinner Dance on Sat 28th November in the Clarion Hotel.
There will be a drinks reception from 7pm to 8.30 pm with music by the Odd Couple.
There will be a 4 course dinner @ 8.30pm followed by Brush Shiels and his band.
We will also be selling our Season tickets for 2010 at a special price for anybody who goes on the night.
There will also be a limited edition t-shirt on sale.
Tickets are priced @ 75 euro per person and will be on sale tomorrow night @ half time and after the game as well.
We are restricted by the size of the Clarion to the number of tickets we can sell so there will only be a limited number on sale.
If you have any queries you can call the office on 071-9171212 Mon - Fri between 10am and 2pm or 087-2297711.
It should be a very good night.

I have attached a poster if anybody wants to put it up.

Gone up in price I see...bit steep for the younger fans. Usually is a great night though. Any special guests this year?

Do we bring our own cans? Special seat at the front for Dooley?

Is that Dave Cook on guitar?

Hi Sligoman,

Just 1 special guest,hopefully-just waiting for confirmation.

The dinner dance is a fundraiser for the club and we have set a target of raising between 10 and 15k out of it.
It will be a good night and if anybody comes to me and says they didn't enjoy themselves, then I'll refund their money-terms and conditions will apply of course!!

Anyway Sligoman, with your reputation - if you stayed off the beer for the weekend you'd have enough for a table never mind a ticket!!

All joking aside, if anybody has a problem with money and they really want to go, just give me a call on 087-2297711 and I'll sort something out.

How much is a table? The reason I ask is that I see a grand lump of a table on Ebay for €16.58

There is no problem if you want to bring your own table as long as you have a current Health and Safety licence for "table moving".
This is a new regulation brought in by the Hotel federation of Ireland and the Government and comes into law on the 27th of November.
The first course to be run in Ireland just happens to be in the Clarion on Thursday 26th November.
There are still a few places left and the cost of each place on the course is 1,000 euro - cheques made payable to Falanevva Ltd.
So you have a choice Avvenalaf, you can do the course and bring your own table at a cost of 1,016.58 or take a table off us for 750 euro.

Your choice!!
