Yeah because if we get Greece, players with the experience of playing in a Panathinaikos - Olympiakos derby are going to be terrified of by that nob who does the PA announcing "Now please stand and do the official FAI House of Pain dance, sponsored by eircom" followed by a cringeworthy dance. And would someone please tell the FAI to stop piping in that dreadful music pre-kick off and when we score a goal. It's embarassing. Before the Montengran game there was silence while they played Ole Ole for about five minutes, before they finally shut it up and the crowd began actually singing. Who's in charge of a decision to play music when we score???

agree re: when we score a goal, people are going mental so there's no point. but i thought hearing put 'em under pressure really lifted the crowd prior to kick off.

unfortunately, most people at home games don't sing, so there's a need for something like that. should play the whole of the song tho, brings back good memories of qualifying for tournaments.

Up to a couple of years ago all music was the teams choice. Dunno what the story in now. Some overpaid PR consultant probably.

YBIG got some of the music changed, think that's why "We're on the one road" was added to the playlist
IIRC it was derided in the press as a "nationalist anthem"

We’re on the Road to Nowhere! :(

"A rat, a skinnny little rat" That could be made in to a chant...or a rap...yes, the Rat Rap...it's a Rat Rap and you've been caught...but could be mistaken as you're a Rat Trap as in Trappatoni......OK, time to go home!

Kinda defeated your "scare the opposition" point by adding a video of Winsconsins opposition smiling and dancing around to the music!!!

Ridiculous idea!!
