im hoping for a few things. hope we will finish the group on a winning note and remain unbeaten. id like to see liam miller impose himself a bit, come on man take your chance. id also like to see as it seems in some papers that noel hunt will play instead of robbie. robbie dosent need to play tonight really so keep him fresh. kilbane and shay get 100. get given off at half time though. i think we will win 2-0.

Score draw for me, I can see the midfield getting badly exposed if Miller and Rowlands start. I'll go for another 2-2.

Get Given off at half time though.
If (if) we're winning, I'd take Given and Kilbane off together - maybe on the hour or with 15 - to go just to give them a standing ovation. Wouldn't do it at half-time though.

1-0 win for me.

ya i suppose, give them the applause. dont care about the score though just get given off just in case.

I just don't think we're going to get a decent result tonight unfortunately. I think we're gonna be crucified in the middle of the pitch.

Hope not though.

Shakles off - I dont think we will be reckless but there will be quiet a few eager to prove themselves now with time running out.

2-0

Ye seriously would be great to see the leash let of a bit, practice for the second game of the playoffs where we might have to just go for it for any chance.. 10 Bob on 2-0 @11/2

Awful midfield alright but i would hope Trap will make a change if its not working out. Though if he does indeed plan on taking both Given and Kilbane off early then maybe this wont happen

Yeah I think it will be a good performance because a few of the guys in the starting line-up know that this is their chance to stake a claim for a place in the World Cup squad (provided we get there). Montenegro are good but nowhere near as dangerous without Jovetic and Vucinic. I'd go for a comfortable 2-0 to us.

we are an hour and 2 hours behind some remember duggie.

I think we might have a shackles off approach to this game. IF we do and duff and mcgeady start i can see us creating a good few chances. I can see mcgeady scoring tonight actually.

All games in our group kick off at the same time tonight. That's one in Dublin (GMT), one in Italy (+1) and one in Bulgaria (+2 I think?)

Im going for Ireland 3-1 think be good game with hopefully good few decent performances.

Still cant get ovetr Miller startin g he just does not cut it at international but once they put on green jersey I will back them to the end.

As one person suggested this might put us in pot 2 for Euros so its important to get decent result.

be also nice to get to 20 points for this with win

i think miller has got something - just he never shows us!! you would love to shake him at times.

This is a rarity, an Irish qualifier where we can relax and enjoy it and not predicting doom with every single attack on our goal. I would like to see us win, Montenegro are missing their best players, we are undefeated so far in this campaign and it would be good to keep the run going.
No yellow cards obviously as well.

Not sure what the team will look like, but a clean sheet would be good, go for a one nil win.

there is currently a large hoopla about the seedings! we should be going out winning games like these, it may be the difference in the next campaign of being a top seed or second seed, when it comes to the play off!

Is it the first time ever we've qualified for the next stage with a game to spare? (Counting the play-offs as the next stage)

The nearest we came before, I think, was needing a point in Malta or hoping Hungary didn't win in Spain to reach Italia 90. Think it's an undermentioned achievement of this campaign - not only have we gotten through the group unbeaten, but we've reached the next stage with a game to spare.

2-1 - Rowlands :D

We will score first and concede again

Just wondering, say we're up 2 or 3 in the 90th minute and win a penalty, who takes it? Kilbane? Given? Keane?

Yeah and especially seeing as we began as 3rd seeds whereas we would have been normally been 2nd seeds in years gone by (even first seeds for Euro 04, disaster!!)

What about the other qualifiers? Any results we're hoping for?

I suppose, in the most general terms, anyone higher than us in european rankings losing is good!
