Time to keep an eye on this one, I think. Killer's recent burst of form has him up to 13 in the league, 15 overall. Willie Doyle has the league record with 15; Mick O'Byrne got 14 twice (94/95 and 95/96) and Jayo (97/98) and Darren O'Brien (93/94) got 13. So he's joint fourth at the moment anyway.
Including Cup goals, Willie Doyle is still on 15 (he didn’t play in the League Cup, and his last goal came before the first FAI Cup game). Jayo 97/98 moves up to 15, Micko moves up to 15 and 18, while Darren O’Brien moves up to 15.
So I make it – and the Leinster Senior Cup goals are only sporadically included – that our top goalscorer list looks as follows –
18 – Mick O’Byrne (1995/96)
15 – Mick O’Byrne (1994/95), Darren O’Brien (1993/94), Willie Doyle (2004), Jason Sherlock (1997/98), Ciarán Kilduff (2009)
