Folks,

Heading to the U21 game tonight in Tallaght - just wondering if anyone can tell me best way to travel from City Centre? The Luas seems to be an option - is it far a walk to the ground from the Luas terminal?

Not at all. Basically, head to your right after you get off at The Square. Pass by a petrol station and you'll see the ground in front of you, across a big junction. No more than 5 minutes walk.

+ 1.

Luas by far the easiest and most convenient way to get there. The ground, or at least the floodlights, are visible from the station. A return ticket from the city centre costs €4.30.

+2.

the combination of clean, fast, and affordable public transport, followed by a brand new stadium, with fab floodlights, clean toilets and a choice of food options is dizzyingly un-League of ireland.

I hate them.:)

No! Meant clean quick cheap transport and nice stadium. I like Germans. I like all peoples of the world.

And please don't make the mistake of hopping into a cab on O'Connell Street and asking to go to the Bay of Pigs - you may well find yourself on a US Troop Carrier bound for Cuba

Any coverage, text or otherwise of this game anywhere?

Dunno if RTÉ will bother sending any camera since it's on a LOI night.

The whole area? Banlieue 13 (http://www.districtb13.com/district_b13.html) style?

All the mods voted to take part in a Rovers childish style boycott of the forum a few days ago.

So you're on your own darling

Ehmm ... pretty basic stuff really ...

So somebody going to the u21 international tonight asks for directions and then the thread gets hijacked with postings from other threads.

That's when mods typically intervene, no?

For your information, I left it as it was. Just a bit of banter, to be expected.

I agree, it was all ok and didn't drop into any actual abuse. Its ok to talk about it, just not to part-take in it imo.
