I'm after hearing that the bus driver wasn't paid for the last two Town away games! Surly this can't be true, I thaught our finances were in good order???If it is true it doesn't bear well for the current committee! They can't afford to be missing certain payments like that or there will be trouble as shown in Cork!
Anyone hear anything about it?

True or not leave it in house don't be postin it for the world to see. More important things to be talkin about like 3 points against Athlone.

I'd put a stable financial position over 3 points against Athlone, no matter how much I hate Athlone!
I'd say most would

Were not gettin the numbers through the gates to cover the overheads, the bus not been paid for a week or two wouldnt concern me too much. You never see any of the positive stuff been posted like the recent news that the trust is doin really well, its always the players didnt get paid or the bus wasnt paid or so and so is owed money. Club are workin there asses off to keep things afloat but its always the negative crap people wanna talk about.

I had a look at the end of your search history and that wasn't in anyway positive but then I got bored so maybe you have got more positive since 2006!

When times are hard you have to be positive its what keeps us goin, ive been nothin but positive over the last 2 seasons when we have hit rock bottom again. Different regime now different opinions, its 2009 not 2006. If everyone gets behind the club I have no doubt we will be back.

Well I'm behind the club and wouldn't like to see this sort of thing happening, thus the reason I posted it!

It happens all the time, we know what budget we have to work too but with the gates been so low its always gonna be difficult to sustain it everyweek. Hopefully a big crowd for a big game this saturday night will get some extra cash in.

Last I heard, within the last week or so, the committee were pretty confident of breaking even this year. The players were up to date and so was the Revenue. You're always going to have minor problems, it's not exactly a new thing. There's been much more serious problems over the years and we've come through them so don't fret too much about it.
