But not soon enough! They needed to score in the first 30mins to ensure they did 'achieve' the record for the longest period between goals.

I belive their goal came in the 54th minute.

Well lads sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately according to BBC and UTV etc this morning that World record stuff was a load of crap, as no-one knows what the record is. But fingers crossed we might still get it. :rolleyes:

But they would say that. It was the record - 1,298 minutes without scoring. :D Took over 2 years.

It is confirmed as the European record not the world.
