Greetings,
Anyone out there got some real news on his progress? This is the famous cousin of Wayne Rooney who some have dubbed ‘Britain's biggest teenage striking sensation’ (see newspaper cutting below)
Its a bit old but what I can find of late is that he did score recently for the Wigan reserves
http://www.wiganlatics.co.uk/page/InReserve/0,,10429~1786833,00.html but I can find no profile for him on the same website. The only other bit I can find is that he did play for us U-17 last year - http://www.fai.ie/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3771
Anyone got anything better?

Mccaffrey Wary of Bringing Rooney's Cousin to Turkey
Daily Mail (April 25, 2008)
TOMMY AMOS, a distant cousin of Wayne Rooney, is on standby for the Ireland Under 17 squad that jets out to Turkey for the UEFA Championship finals on Monday. The Liverpool-born 16-year-old, who recently signed for Wigan Athletic, qualifies to play for Ireland through his Dublin-born grandmother, but has yet to be capped.
Youths boss Sean McCaffrey said: 'Thomas Amos is a good player with potential. He's underage next year again and he hasn't been involved with this group all year. 'It would be a risk to take him in. If we lost a couple of players, he'd have a chance of coming in.
