Come in from Fairview direction, take a right at the crossroads, first left then park wherever the kids point out. Throw them a fiver and you're car will be grand. Not much of a walk from there.

I park just behind Quinn's pub, on Crawford Avenue, outside St Columba's church, or Gartan Avenue right next to it
Best way to get there is to come straight in the N2, continue to Finglas road, then Prospect Way, and turn onto Iona Road
Here's a map showing the streets: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=st+columba's+church+drumcondra,+dublin+&sll=53.965197,-6.33585&sspn=2.430216,5.597534&ie=UTF8&ll=53.366623,-6.263924&spn=0.009628,0.021865&z=16
You'll need to get there early though, most of the parking in the estate is residential only.
It's not more than a 10 minute walk to Croke Park from there

The parking restrictions around all that area around quinns has changed over the summer. Its impossible to go to the game and park around there now without a residential pass (2 hr metered parking restriction). Furtehr out around Fagans pub is the closest, coming from the north road.

I used to live around the corner from Croker and have a parking permit. However, it expires on December 31st. Boo! Obviously, seeing as I no longer live there I can't get a new one.

There's a Monastery type thing on the Drumcondra Road near to the junction of the Clonliffe Road. It's €10 per car but right beside Croke and it doesn't take long to empty afterwards.

Haha, I use it all the time but never knew exactly what it was. I just assumed they got a new roof every winter...and summer with the amount of €'s they rake in.
