im flying out tomorrow, and i cnat find my bloody driving license.

If i have a copy of it would that do? The car was broken into and i think it might have been taken then, would they accept that? Along with my insurance stuff and the rest?

I have an english provisional would they know the difference over there between a full and provisional?:

Not sure its possible to get a replacement in your time frame

lost licence (http://www.dublincity.ie/RoadsandTraffic/DrivingLicences/Pages/LicencePermitReplacement.aspx#indate)

Ring the us embassy for advice or your car hire company I guess.

I really doubt they'd take a photocopy - they give our licences a bit of an odd look as it is, them not being a laminated card. A cop certainly wouldn't take it.

You can get an emergency passport in 24 hours. Maybe something similar works for licences - I wouldn't bet on it, but ring up and explain your situation.

Cheers lads, to be honest i spose its my own fault for leaving it too late.

But im in England anyway so i doubt i could get it within 24 hours as its an Irish license.

I do have an english provisional which ill chance.

Glad you got it - it really is a nation for the driver.

Depends on the forum. Where might I be? Most of the fora I'm on I am Bluebeard, unless if someone beat me to it.

Good trip?
