Having gone to the NDSL Womens/Girls Seminar I feel its the best organised and pro active league for Female soccer in Dublin. (As I previously posted).
Today we received the DWSL entry forms etc, the first contact we have had from that League since the start of the Summer League. The NDSL started their consultation weeks ago.
We have sent our entry forms into the NDSL for Seniors, Under 14's, 12's and 10's. As a southside Club, I firmly believe that entering the NDSL is the right choice for the Winter League even if it means many early starts travelling away. Its the Clubs first attempt at Schoolgirls Football but the response so far is really positive.
Its crazy that the DSWL are trying to set up Leagues. Why cant they stick to their summer Season? Politics and ego's come to mind.
There is already too many Male Leagues in Dublin, the last thing needed is two Women Leagues. As someone said at the NDSL Meeting, its diluting the quality of play/standards.
Whats other peoples opinions, on the NDSL or DWSL for the Winter Leagues at all Levels.
