Maybe the two fans that were up there might know.....

I doubt it but I'll ask them. Thanks for the tip. :)

To think we are missing Gutsie, Derek, Davoren, and Russell, and the club is an absolute shambles, this result couldn't have come at a better time

Which club is an absolute shambles?

You get more support for terminal cancer than Galway United though
Hmmm.....eh...right? :o

Course they will. They have cancer services, unlike us. :p

Both probably. Galway United definitely is though.

Has anyone heard of John Sangi? He was on the bench for us tonight.

Angolan striker born in Italy.

I know why he WAS employed as a footballer. Why he STILL is employed as a footballer is what i can't fathom.

thats not the question that was asked.

According to the Irish Independant:
2009
Apps: 19
Goals: 4

Just cos somebody used to be good, doesn't mean they still are.

well then you asked the wrong question.

Lads, calm down wqith the 'Foster for manager of the year' stuff, it is a bit cringeworthy. We are mid-table and were dumped out of the 2 Cups by lower league opposition. MON has done a tremendous job, Fenlon is favourite to leads Bohs to the club's first sucdessful defence of the league title, Kenna brought Pats to within 1 tie of the Europa League, and if Droghed escape, Alan Matthews will have argaubly done a better job that Foster. Foster has done a great job, don't get me wrong, but Manager of the Year? No.

and if Droghed escape, Alan Matthews will have argaubly done a better job that Foster.

Even giving Drogheda a fighting chance of staying up is a massive achievement for Matthews.

With the chaos surrounding that club at the beginning of the season they should be dead and buried by now.

They're not and that is a big achievement.

Just as one win does not make a team a good one ? still at least it spares us stories about admittance price, stewards etc so well done Sligo on your big night.

worst ive ever seen crowe playing, anyone could admit that im sure.

looked really poor. one moment in the 2nd half where he tried to kick the ball and he swung at it, only half caught it, and fell over then.

I remember in the first half when Jason Byrne was free he blasted the ball out that got us a throw in. Surely Crowe is at or very near the end going by last night  could easily be proven wrong though.

Where did I say we're a good team now cos we bet ye? Glen Crowe is useless, anyone with eyes that function can see that.

Would have to agree with that. Remember a few weeks into the season roddy's rant about drogheda being already relegated and certainties to finish bottom of the league...what a clown!

A galway and Sligo double would be decent odds in any bookies.

20 euro double would have got you nearly 600 quid

crowe certainly below standard this season but he would still get a game for Sligo (and many more teams). But hey i'm sure you know better than Nutsey on how to pick a team

Good win for Sligo and best of luck for the rest of the season (except the cup of course).
