Word is colin p o'b is not playing for city this season, and frankly he wouldnt be a bad signing seeing as cobh need a couple more strikers.

ya its about time hill woke up and signed some ****in players!

were not going to get promoted with the team we have so why doesn't he get his act together and sign a few decent players to help us out.

Hill has been in talks with Colin and what i hear is that Hill has offered his a contract this would be an excellent signing for Ramblers

I suppose one of the main reasons that Dave Hill isn't signing new players is the lack of funds at Ramblers. The club is broke.
However with a possible sponsor on the cards for the upcoming season, there may be light at the end of the tunnell.

Dave has just negotiated with Darren Murphy to stay for one more season. Cork were trying to sign him and Dave didn't want to swap players. Now he can start to poaching players from city.

Is Dave Warren with Cobh or City this season? John andrews is with Cobh.

ya murphy got another year on top of his other one.

warren is with city.

dolan wont give anyone to cobh now because of dave not letting murphy go to cork!

Are you lads living in the real world.

There is no money in Cobh they are up to there eyes in debt.

How can you sign players when you cantpay them they wont play for nothing.

The New sponser Goodyear are only giving 20,000 just enough to buy kit and balls and training gear for the season.


For the record the wage bill and expenses for the Team alone last season was about 125,000.

That was before any other costs of running a club.

And remember you cant blame the manager for it all.

here boy theres plenty of class players around cork going for free!!

E.G. Yelve!! we got him for free and hes arguable our best player!
