OK, quick hypothetical.
New terrestrial TV station has been founded, along the lines of RTÉ/TV3.
The schedule is empty. What shows/areas of TV, that you feel are neglected by the current crop, would you like to see on such a station?
1. Live League of Ireland / LOI in Europe.

Since woman have most of the tv nowadays (all that yank rubbish)....I would have late night viewing of wall to wall Top Gear with the odd French movie on after dark just to balance it a bit?!:)
and yeah LOI, darts, snooker, and boxing as the premium showtime sports!

A decent comedy, preferably something Irish or British as funny as Fawlty Towers or Father Ted instead of all this american comedies we are seeing now that really isn't that funny.
I remain convinced that there is room for a weekly Jon Stewart / Letterman humourous show with a current affair overtone - a kind of phoenix magazine on tv

Boston Legal, at a earlier time than rte show it start from scratch, what a show. Family guy seems to be on very few channels also. LOI games too.

A channel free of adverts, G.O.L.D are the worst for it, about 5 minutes of adverts
Bargain Hunt: The orange presenter goes around the latest LOI club looking to sell off its players it can't afford at auction
Location Location Location: Kirsty and Phil advise the FAI which part of Dublin is next suitable for a new LOI club.
Perry Mason: The top lawyer is drafted in for a special case of how do we get this latest club out of trouble from the Revenue
Seconds from Disaster: With real-time special effects, eye-witness accounts and state-of-the-art computer graphics, we can re-trace the mystery of how the LOI is how it is..
The Money Programme: Analysis on just how well the LOI is doing
Mythbusters: Common LOI theories banished and proven once and for all...
QI: Alan Davies faces an FAI board weekly and tries his hardest to finish last but can he get past the General Ignorance Round this time?
Mock the Week: Frankie Boyle takes aim at this week's results..
Top Gear: North Pole? Vietnam? Botswana? This week Jeremy, Richard and James try to get to a cross-country LOI fixture after 5pm on a Friday night without killing each other. This may be their trickiest test yet.
Then obviously Air Crash Investigation, Family Guy etc etc.
