It has crossed my mind a couple of times, with henry getting better and better and no defence seemingly able to stop him let alone a single defender, is he unmarkable?

The closest Ive seen to anyone marking him out of a game was in the OT debacle in about september, when Ferdinand had him in his pocket for the whole game, but Arsenal were very defencively minded that day and most of what he was left with was scraps and was playing with his back to goal and contesting headers. Considering that everyone has off days aswell, on form who would stop Theirry Henry?

john terry, silvestre, woodgate and nesta are all capable of marking him. maybe even villas olof mellberg.

Arsenal are lucky they've never drawn Celtic in the Champions League. Let Bobo Balde loose on him. Henry wouldn't last five minutes... ;)

Henry is something else alright, player of the season by a mile,Arsenal would be in trouble if he got injured because they depend on him so much, more so than even van nist at man u.

Not sure about that, Henry is the worlds best football player at the moment and these types of defenders arent his match, (Nesta apart) they are very good sure but Henry invented the next level, and this is coming from a former utd supporter. Hes sheer class and but I wouldnt take any one of them defenders over TH. Maybe if you through in Thuram as the right back, maybe then you would.

Henry, consistency in a world gone mad.Henry, consistency in a world gone mad.

We rely on him loads, and would drop a few points without him over a long period, but we wouldn't be in that much trouble. We proved that against Middlesbrough at Highbury in the FA Cup.

I have to disagree,I don't remember a period where Henry was out for any length of time but if he was out for anything longer than a month I'd say arsenal would start struggling big time.He scores the mojority of their goals and creates lots also, while although van nist is a great goalscorer he never really creates anything for anybody else.

Henry missed one league game for Arsenal last season, they drew 1-1 against Chelsea and so far this season he has missed one league game against Leicester, they also drew 1-1, so they probably would miss him a great deal.

He is easily the best player in the premiership and probably in the world.(even though zidane won it).Arsenals new signing reyes isv the perfect partner for him up front.
