After another dull first half at Dalymount, or another top drawer match at the Cross, what sort of refreshments are available to get ready for another dull/pulsating second half?

I bet Leo Burdock is at most of your grounds, eh?

You haven't lived until you've tried something from Franks.

Leo Burdoch's in Dalymount was top notch as usual last Friday.

Did little to soften the blow of the second half though unfortunately.

It wasn't meant to be funny. I'm deadly serious.

Don't know how people can't go without food or drink for an hour and a half and then pay for some overpriced sh1t. I hate it when there is a decent atmosphere in the first half then everyone fcuks off for a half time pint or burger and not back till 5-10 minutes into the second half completely kills the buzz.

I'll generally try to avoid paying for that overpriced fast food crap by bringing a granola bar or something, or at least eating the same fast food crap before the match, but for less.

Leo Burdocks is lovely at Shels or Bohs. And I enjoyed my '' Mon Dog '' when I visited Kingspan Century Park this year aswell.

You know, that could be a bit of a problem if there are a lot of orders during a match.

I bring dinner with me. I eat a very strict diet so yeah.;)

If I'm in the mood to splash out I might invest in a coke or a coffee.

Me and the dad usually stop off at the Bombay Pantry on the way back from the game and pick up the food we'd have ordered on the way down. There are worse Friday night rituals!

At the cup game against Tralee, Paul Cook was down scouting Bray for the game the following Friday. He was just behind me in the queue for the chipper, but he was running late, so had to just grab whatever was already cooked and waiting at the time. He ended up with three chicken fillets, but no chips. At a guess, he was at least four times as angry as he was the next week when Bray were awarded that soft penalty!

There's two chippers in the Cross on matchday, one near the Donie Forde Stand and one behind the Shed End. There used to be a chipper occasionally on the St Anne's End but with the new roof that has gone.
