Anyone in any way capable of kicking a ball interested in playing in Phoenix Park on Sunday afternoon? We really need players. I say 'players,' but really two feet are the minimum requirement, and we're prepared to negotiate that if we really need to.
We managed a decent group for about three weeks back in late June/early July but it's since gone to pot with the last two outings consisting of only three of us. So with that in mind I've been trying to launch a major offensive this week; Ive started a new job and have garnered a handful of recruits from it, I reckon I can count on 3/4 others from other walks of life; and now I'm turning to foot.ie.
It really nothing very serious; we're all pretty crap and hideously unfit. :o If you can climb a flight of stairs without wheezing you'll be just fine.
Really, we're looking for a minimum of 10 (pref 14+) altogether to make it worthwhile: if we get the numbers it'll doubtless be a somewhat motley crew of different groups so don't worry about having to approach a group of strangers in Phoenix Park asking, "Are you from the internet?" :p
Plus, Foot.ie has needed a team for ages...
