Whats up with that? I know he didn't feature a whole lot but why is he being released? Surely he would be a player that Matthews would want to hang onto no?
he left a few months ago!

He was app getting mixed up with a bad crowd and missed a few training sessions and when he was there , he wasnt exactly trying to hard and eventually he ended up "faking" injury! Himself and Mark Duggan where told to go by Matthews!

Talented guy and would be a good 'un if he could get his head right. He blew hot and cold for us, and has plenty of critics, but he can play and I certainly wouldn't write him off.

He isnt goof enough for Drogs or Bohs but way too good for CYM Terenure.
Would the likes of Fingal,Dundalk,Shels and Bray not be interested?

Wouldn't the first 3 you mentioned not have a better standard of player than Drogs?

Might as well ask these questions here:
Why is he called Joxer?
What was all that 'Joxer has no father' stuff about?
i always thought it was just that in Dublin the name John Paul sometimes gets shortened to Joxer.
was a great little player for Bohs for a couple of seasons, a player you would gladly pay in to watch and its a real pity if some of the above stories are true and he has wasted away that talent.

A real shame that he has ended up like this. Hope he finds another club.

Maybe this is telling of the league, the leagues ability to steer players the right way and ensure they can progress as players and people.
Its one of the few advantages available to the league, as opposed to the machine across the water that chews players up and spits them out for any reason imaginable. If players can recognise their domestic league enables to them equip themselves for a move away (Fahey) or have a good career here (Gamble) or use it as a means to progress through the system (Doyle) then it will become alot more attractive to them.
I wonder have the PFAI done anything to help the guy out? I'm comparing them to the Gaelic Players Association who actively seek jobs for their members these days.

I would like to see him stay in football. Joxer has the ability and with a bit of help could still make it big.
A good example is Fahey, he went back playing Leinster Senior League for Bluebell United but came to St Pats and eventually moved onto Birmingham, where he is now playing in the Premier League.
A massive advantage for Joxer is he is only 21.

Fahey played about 4 times for Bluebell and only did so while waiting for his Villa contract to expire so he could sign for Pats.

Im not a Drog(biggest insult ever) so take that back or ill hunt you down! He fell out with Matthews just like JP Kelly, some-it about the two of them not pulling their weight in trainign etc!

I woudl have though Eddie GOrmley would have taken a gamble on him seen as though ye lost Paddy Kavanagh!

Nothing to do with not pulling there weight whatsoever ! It was alot more serious than that .Drogs fans know exactly why they were let go but it was what they were up to in there private lives more so than as Drogs players .Although they did fake injury and didnt do fcuk alll when they were here .Best rid of both of them .Bad news ....

He wasn't even that good to be honest.
I'd like to see both players at Bray given the position we are in at present. Joxer does have his off the field problems as most people know about but there is less than half a season to go and would be worth giving him a chance i reckon.
Duggan left us before the end of last season and i doubt would be asked back to the club but he was one of the most honest lads on the pitch for us. Always gave 100% on the pitch and is a fairly decent young player.

Since when did being an LoI figure make it open season for the broadcasting of unsubstantiated allegations on your private life?
