I know I'm in the wrong league, but bear with me.

Could someone tell me if Newry City's ground, The Showgrounds, if outside the city ? If so, how far outside would it be by taxi ?

Cheers

Also, so Newry City have a club shop in Newry City Centre, or is there a club shopat the ground. If so, is it open daily ?

You would walk it in 20 mins. 2.50£ taxi fare.

You do realise there's an entire sub-forum dedicated to the Irish League on foot.ie, where a post like this wouldn't seem so weirdly out of place......?

The Showgrounds are near the GAA ground beside the go kart track just of the roundabout at the bottom of the dual carriageway to Warrenpoint. You could walk from the bus station in about ten minutes. They have a decent social club and small shop. Nice stand recently built. Not sure if the club shop still exists in the town. I pass the showgrounds about 3 times a week. Has improved over the years.
