I know people moan about the media coverage of the league but i have to say the radio coverage is usually IMO fairly good.

A lot of the time eL news/results is given before the english ones. Yesterday there was live commentary of Monaghan v Dundalk (hardly a glamorous tie) & the score was the first score on the sports news.

I'm talking about Today FM as would mainly listen to that. Good coverage when you consider Dumpy disgracefully bans eL from his show. He may not agree with the FAI & may not wish to cover the league much but a ban is too much.

RTE's radio coverage is quite good (even if they do keep interupting for another bloody horse race). However, I think that if they weren't so desperately short of sport to put on the radio, it wouldn't be there.

Last word text number if you want to start a campaign - 087 4100 102. I actually like the programme, apart from the ignorance to eL, but I don't think my one man campaign has worked - I haven't even got a mention yet (no matter how critical I've been:) )

I like the Dumpy Show too but I can guarantee you that IF he ever read out one of your comments it would be done in a condecending manner. He does the same on some political issues......

Dumpy sure does know how to carry a gripe against the FAI doesn't he........

BTW I wonder if the league broke from the FAI would he change his tune? Not likely i'd say.......
