Last night's Eircom teaser was name the other 7 home venues for Republic of Ireland games.
Dalymount (lots)
Lansdowne (lots)
Mardyke - Hungary 39
Flower Lodge - Spain 85
Tolka Wales 81 & 93
RDS - Wales 92
Croke Park - a few
Thomond australia 09
Is it safe to assume that nobody has seen the senior team at all 8 venues
Assuming anybody who was at the Hungary game would be pushing 80 now.
Anybody else seen Ireland in the other 7? I also saw our U17s play Northern Ireland in the Mardyke in 1985. We had a midfield that included Pat Fenlon and Michael Ireland (Stephen's Dad).
Given the RDS and the Lodge were one offs and Tolka was just 2 friendlies v Wales there can't be too many.

At least you have answered the trivia question for us Gary, we were at it in the pub when we came home from the match. Thought Miltown would have been one.

All except The Mardyke.
Even though I have already got the ticket, not sure if I will be going back to Thomond next month.

My Dad has the 7 as well. He was only a few weeks old for the Hungary game so missed it.
England have played us in Goodison since 1949 and Dalymount since 1964 (I think) so hardly too many who saw all 6.
I've seen us v Wales in 6 - Lansdowne, RDS, Tolka, Croke Park, Wrexham and Mill Stad. We also played them in Swansea in 1979 and Dalymount in 1960.
Holland is possible for more - Dalymount, Lansdowne, Tilburg, amsterdam, rotterdam, Palermo, gelsenkirchen, anfield and Orlando. I wasn't in Dalymount in 83 or Tilburg in 94 but I'm sure a few have managed all 9. A good crowd wen tto Tilburg which is probably the hardest one.

Anyone at the last 5 England games? I was. Too young for that one in Wembley in the early 80s.
Sttutgart, Cagliari, Wembley, and Lansdowne twice. All positive results too.
