Will be held in Angola... anyone thinking of going ? I know there are a few people from here who go to some international football (euros, world cup, copa america / libertadores etc), wondering if anyone is potentially going to this ?

I wish, but instead I'll be watching on my computer. HarpoJoyce has it as his avatar so maybe he's going or knows someone who is. I'd imagine though that anyone who is going to fly that far next year will be going a little bit south of Angola and in June not January ;)

Maribor (http://foot.ie/forums/member.php?u=21) is going. Or thinking of going. Either way, he knows stuff. Useful stuff.

Cool, if I can get cheap flights (either Air Berlin to Windhoek then buses, or TAP via Lisbon) I'll see if I can go, so far as I'm aware all matches are in the costal cities, which are about 6 hours or 1 day (bus) apart.

I was looking at going for the knockout phase for about a week(approximately 23/1-2/2)
Flights are £700 via Dubai and stopping over in J'burg. Dunno what the craic would be with hire cars etc though.

Dublin -> Dubai -> Joburg -> Angola?!
What a wierd route.
Edit - Dubai -> Luanda is a direct route with Emirates; maybe that's what you meant, adding in time in Joburg?

London-Dubai-J'Burg Angola with Emirates.
Checked them yesterday. Trying to wangle the time off at the minute.
