Have got flights to Weeze booked for the end of the month and can't decide where to go.
It's a group of 6 fellas heading over from Saturday-Tuesday. I'm the only one who's been to the Land before. I went to Düsseldorf and really enjoyed it.

We are thinking of spending two nights in Köln and one in Düsseldorf. Any opinions in Köln?
Other options are Duisburg, Gelsenkirchen, Essen, Möchengladbach, Leverkusen and possibly Dortmund.

Any suggestions or ideas on where to go would be great.

I'm in Germany at the mo and I just saw an ad for GamesCom. It looks like some sort of computer game convention. More here: www.gamescom.de

Anywa, it's on in Koln from 20-23rd of August. I know if I were up there I'd head over. It seems like a lot of fun.

Don't know if that's the weekend you're heading over though.

Cologne

Hotel Domstern - right beside the train station, great spot, great breakfast wished we stayed longer than the one night (on the way to Sofia) - its No 1 on trip advisor for good reason

Gaucho - Argentitian steak house, the first in Cologne - pictures all over the walls lots of an early Maradonna - great steaks

Love Dusseldorf myself but then was 18 and back packing and everywhere was exciting!
