Righteo lads, the new season is coming up fast. If anyone sees any odds that they think are value, post 'em up!

One that caught my eye is in the handicap top scorer market on PP: Arshavin +9 goals is 22/1. I think that's value. The boy is quality and will cut through teams like they're butter this season.

Sunderland at 2/1 for a top half finish looks decent too. Bruce has brought some quality in there and is getting better as a manger all the time.

Darren Bent also 22/1 with a +11 goal HC with Paddy! He was only 7 goals off the top last season in a fairly poor Spurs team. Looks like he'll be the main man at Sunderland too. Very tempted by this one, very tempted indeed.

He's in my FF team so that could well be a bet I'm interested in. Never knew there were handicap betting on that market so I'll take a look at it tomorrow.

arshavin outright must be a massive price. If he can pop up and get 3 goals in a few games against the lower clubs he has to be in with a bit of a shout. Is there e/w in these markets?

Yeah, there is an each way with 4 placed. Robbie Keane at 66-1 looks a decent shout on the each way market I think.

Powers go 50/1 Darren Bent ew 1st 4 think thats a decent bet, every team he has played for he has got goals and dont see why it will be any different up in Sunderland plus he is bound to start all there games whem injury free unlike Torres Rooney Owen etc so at 50s it worth a nibble imo

arshavin outright is also 22/1

in the handicap market, the handicap number has to be added to all players on the market, so prob not as good a bet as first seems. all players 22/1 on it

Yeah.. I saw that alright. Still worth a bit of a punt on the outright market (currently 21.0 on BF). Lay him off when he scores a hatrick on the opening day!

Not sure what you mean by that? If Bent is +11, if he finishes within 10 goals of the eventual top scorer, you win. Is that not the case?

Well if the eventual top scorer started at +2 in that situation then the bent bet would not come through.....

I see, hmmmmm. Not so confident of it now.
