He gets more money playing in England. If he doesn't sign when they offer him a deal, it may be on the table next week if they pick someone else up.

Add in the risk of potential injury, and it's a risk you simply can't take.

Thats a strange one? Hope it works out but he'll have to impress. At his age, I'd off taken the longer contract offer at Sunderland(assuming it was higher). He's not guaranteed a chance at Ipswich either.

Yeah a one-year deal is a poor decision if he was offered a longer contract elsewhere. On the plus side, with Roy Keane, everybody gets a chance.

It does seem to be a bold move - Bruce has a very good record of bringing through youngsters so it seems odd he's left for his stated reason. At least it's a pro-active decision, I guess, and hopefully it works out for him there.

On the face of it it does look strange to sign for an unproven manager at a lower level club and for one year.

At a guess me thinks that someone may have being exagerating other options.

In reality I do not know. I am putting 2+2=?
