View Full Version : Carling Cup final
Me and my Da are going to try and go to Caaaardiff for the Carling Cup final, if for no other reason than just to see a match in the Millenium Stadium.
Anyone know where a fella could get a few tickets.
I did a google, and found a site where the prices were ranged from stg£250-stg£300. Needless to say, at those prices, we wont be going.

you'd book travel, accomodation and a ticket with a tour operator for those prices.
try ebay or Arsenal supporters clubs based in Ireland (if they lose tonight).

Try the clubs - they'll be on general sale anyway with those two in the final. Just make out you're a fan...
You could always have just asked me.....:D

Is well worth the trip. One of the best stadiums I've seen and I've been in the Stade de France and Parkhead.
You could probably get tickets locally! And they serve a decent pint of Murphys in O'Neills on Mary Street, bout 5 mins from the stadium.
You know these Northern clubs like Newcastle/S'land/Boro are pure glory hunter fans. Id say Boro will fill their allocation double quick.

I wouldn't call Newcastle fans glory hunters, they haven't won a trophy in about 80 years or something mad like that and they sell out their 55,000 stadium nearly every week, best fans in england supposedly.
Imagine Man u going five seasons without a trophy, old trafford would be a quarter full i'd say.
Please go soon fergie,pleeeaaase.:p
I don't think the final will be sold out that quick.Bolton vs Middlesborough,it's not exactly the crowd puller that Liverpool-Man u was last year.

:D :D :D At least we have a roof at CP!
Take Ibrox? Go ahead, by all means. And while you're at it, use the land for something more suitable than the retirement home they have on the site just now... :p

I suppose that the old trafford crowd was full of japenese tourists back in the 74/75 too and that all spent a couple of hundred euros in the club shop too. ;)

Nicest stadium I was ever in. The facilities are something else. It must cost them a good few bob to keep it in the nick its in.
Theres posh carpet and marble flooring/steps all over the gaff, jacks totally clean, and quality food.
