Good work out for all the players including Andrie 'Franco' Gheorgescu who, I understand, guested for us. But good to see Brian Connaughton, Garvin Broughall, Stephen Doyle playing for the first team and Ciaran Kilduff got a run in the second-half aswell.

If Georgescu plays to the level he is capable of he would be our best striker. Nevertheless he would be a good addition to our squad even if he doesn't.

He was playing left wing last night, but yeah, would be a good signing alright I think.

Was told he wasn't guaranteed a starting spot with us apparently. One of us will be wrong...

The thing is that we don't have an A League side this year and he's too old for the under 20s team so if he didn't play for the first team, he'd have no football.

I thought he was only 18 or 19.

Somebody tell the FAI then cos he was playing with the U18 FAI Schools team earlier this year!

I don't recall how Broughall played. He's been starting for our U20s though, and they're hammering everyone in sight.
