Pat's against Leicester a few years ago was the first time I heard of this being done in Ireland. They even got a spot on RTE News showing a blunder by Ian Walker (he'd made a couple of high profile ones that season) saying that if he played that badly, the lucky person could even get on the scoresheet.

It's a common addendum to the Legends' Games, I think (or at least, the option is there if clubs want)

competition to play in match up and running, yet match still has not been confirmed, how do you issue refunds if/when it does'nt happen.

Pat's did this against Leicester or someone about five years ago. As I recall, a couple of Leicester fans paid a good few quid to play.

Barca B or Barca Atletic. Whatever they wanna call themselves.
They having a long history independent and then semi-independent of Barca, so in spite of being technically a B team, they tend to stick with their old name.

It's Barcelona Atletic, I think it's being sold as a Barcelona XI.... but I suspect the competition winner will be telling the grandkids that he played against Barcelona!

This also has an impact with our Lucky 13 Draw. We were delighted with the reaction that the draw had with Dundalk fans and we will resurrect this idea at the earliest available opportunity. Anybody that entered this draw will be given a full refund.
