bad news guys.

there was an interview yesterday for the final Irish selection. Of 12 interviewees, only 7 were going to be picked, and I'm one of the five who missed out.
Needless to say, I'm pretty gutted at this, I've been registered on the site since very early on and put a lot of work in.
Thanks for all your help and comments and votes, I really did appreciate it.

cheers lads, was pretty down about it earlier. Put a lot of work into it over the last 2 and a bit months, and all for naught.
The final list was due to be released today, but it's been held back until next monday

Whatever about Dave, he comes off as a complete tossbag playing with daddy's money, but he did at least put some work into the competition
Ger and Ema (:rolleyes:) only joined in the last 2 weeks of the competition, did almost no work, and somehow qualified.

Given the calibre of those going, looks like you dodged a bullet there, Kimosabe. It seems that the criteria of votes and comments, etc, doesn't stand up too much compared to you representing the target demographic and perhaps what you are prepared to offer in interview.

As the others have said, probably a blessing in disguise a) not being forced to travel with complete tools like that, and b) not being tarred (and feathered hopefully) along with them.
