Shamrock Rovers have added some weight to their forward line by signing Offaly native Stephen Grant from Dublin rivals Shelbourne.
Grant moved to the Reds earlier this year but he saw very little action under Dermot Keely. His previous club was Galway United, with whom he netted four goals last season.
He will now be vying for a place in the Rovers' front line with his namesake Tony, Seán Francis and Tony Cousins. Grant has played in America with the Boston Bulldogs.
