According to 96fm Healy and Behan have been sold to Hartlepool for £/€50,000. According to the news reporter its from very realiable source. that is no where near the valuation fo these players.

That's what happens when the selling club is screwed financially.

It's less than the valuation Hartlepool put on them last week when we were in the exact same situation.

And this is what a financially unstable league costs us: money and talent.

Hopefully they were smart enough to put sell on clauses in the deal, on the bright side the wage bill will be smaller.

The difference is in the meantime they found out what that situation was.

You may have to take a couple more insulting offers like that before the fortnight is out.
In the long run they might be some of the best deals ye ever did.

They knew the situation with the first offer, which should have been accepted, rather than have to go before the High Court with a lowball offer and risk the existence of the club [which only survived liquidation by Justice Laffoy's extraordinary patience]. We're lucky that they wanted to bring the lads on pre-season rather than waiting to get them on frees in a firtnight.

It's ridiculous that Hartlepool seem to understand the situation better than City.
I don't see how we can avoid losing any player we get an offer for right now.

it would make you sick to have to let them go for that pocket money. healy a former international !!!!!!!!!!! ****es me off, yes cork need the money but that an insult to the league. should ideally be getting 200 - 300,000 for someone like healy at the very least. maybe another 100,000 for behan.

What they should be going for is completely irrelevant. Hartlepool are obviously not going to offer more than would be accepted. It is in no way an insult to the league.

Behan has signed for Hartlepool. Supposedly Ipswich have came in with an offer for Healy.
