Delighted we got a home draw but it will be a tough match. Looking at our previous games with Derry there hasnt been a whole lot of diference between performances and scores, but that was the same with Cork. Lets hope by then we have some decent players who can supply our strikers and hope we can put on the same sort of performance we did against Cork.

home draw is as much as we can hope for and the takings on the gate will be decent as we will need every penny from hear on in

If we're to do well in this competition it looks like we'll have to do things the hard way...

if your gonna win the cup ya gotta beat the best teams but at least its at home and derr blow hot and cold. we usually get a good crowd for derry games but they will have great travelling support. the red stand will need to get behind the team and look what happened when cork came in the cup. we all know on our day we are well capiable of beating anyone. we have won the fai cup in each of the last 2 decades so hopefully we can continue that lol

Agree with you, we need a few players back and try and avoid stupid yellow and red cards, especially Conor and a few other usual suspects, we do not have a large squad for this luxury. Its a great draw and there will be a huge crowd, cannot wait for it but why not turn Bohs over as well.

for me beating bohs in ea cup has to be made our priority at this stage because beat them we get a day out with a serious chance of silverware. we will be favourites in final if progress and i for one think we deserve a bit of silverware. it would also give the squad a serious boost of confidence that is needed badly. come on the super reds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bring on the gypos
