You can certainly buy tickets for Barca games via the website (think its a link to a ticketmaster type thing) but depending on the game you could be split up if more than a two of you. I'd imagine the espanyol site would have something similar. Here (http://www.rcdespanyol.com/ticketing/) is the ticketing section of their website but afaikthey only release tickets 10 days before each league match.

Espanyol tickets can be bought at the gate. Ground holds 50000 or so; average crowd is 15000. They're one of the few clubs I know who are building a new, smaller, ground.

Espanyol are moving to a new stadium on 2nd Aug, it's called the Nou Sarria, and is in "El Prat" region, right next to the airport. It's got 40,500 capacity, I dont think tickets would be a massive problem (I've seen them a few times in their old stadium) - but I would suggest emailing this address:

Remember that games can be played on saturday or Sunday, and they're only confirmed the week before

Espnayol have zero presence in the city, and tickets won't seel out

You used to be able to get them from La Caixa ATM's.

Dont know if you still can.

They don't even sellout the Barca game.

You should have no problem. Better to go to the stadium a couple of days beforehand if you can though.

Not all ATMs, just specific ones. They're much larger than normal ATMs and are usually only in banks

I think with the buzz of the new stadium and Galacticos Mk II that Espanyol - Madrid WILL sell out, even with rip-off ticket prices.

I'm no expert, but, I think you should be able to get tickets to any of Barca's home league matches all season apart from the Real game. These are always sold out as far as I know.

I looked into a tour company, but they're really expensive!!! Would love to go to this game :(

Tickets for the Real madrid game sell out within a couple of days of going on sale to members only. There is never a public sale of tickets

Same weekend as a few Athlone town fans are over there for a stag weekend and we are trying to take in that match as well.

I presume tickets to Real Madrid v AC Milan on Oct 21st would be next to impossible?

Edit: I just found this, seems fairly reasonable although the cost of getting the tickets delivered is dear, anybody have any bit of advice?

I ended up going to this in the end as well as the Barca-Zaragoza match. The Madrid match was great entertainment and a super atmosphere. Terrible defending all round though. Barcelona play the most perfect football imaginable, they're like Arsenal in full flow with a far more destructive end product, albeit the opposition were poor.

I should be heading over to Madrid on Saturday the 23rd and I'm hoping to take in either the Real Malaga match or the Getafe Atlético one.

My guess is the Getafe match would be tougher to get tickets for: local derby and much smaller stadium.

So I'm looking at the Real match. Does anyone know if they'll still be selling tickets right up until kick-off time (if it is one of the Saturday matches)? Also, how much should I expect to pay for tickets?
