3-time pro bowler dead in murder-suicide, looks like the 20 year old girl friend did it, defying statistics.

Really a shocker. Only 36 she was 20. Tough tough player. Borderline HOF candidate but it will be debated more now as a result of his death

Shocking alright and a great player in his day. When he was with the Titans, he was the Jacksonville Jaguars arch nemesis. The fans down here always had a begrudging respect for him.

The girl in question in this case lived in our neck of the woods here in Florida, before moving to Nashville with her boyfriend. She was under the impression that McNair was going to be getting a divorce in a few weeks and that in her mind anyway, was going to marry her. He may well have broke the news to her that this wasn't the case and she snapped. (Pure speculation on my part).

Anyway, R.I.P. Air McNair
