No idea what happened there. We have a good few defenders now I suppose but I'd still prefer to have him over a couple of others. He's still quite young and quite small for a centre half but his positioning and knowledge of the game around him shows that he has plenty of potential.

Yes he had no problem with this aspect of the game. Unfortunately he struggled on actually turning and running towards his own goal and sometimes his two yard passes were an issue. Don't think I mentioned his first touch either. He did manage two goals for us though to say something positive about him.
