Average Attendance In Premier League?

Writing an essay on culture, dragging football into it, anybody able to give a reasoably informed guess as to the average Premier League attendance? (I see so little of it!) :)

There was a thread in here - should be knocking around..... Most of the figures on the high side though....

Yeah trying to find it as we speak... also discoverd in the course of my research that the MLS averaged crowds of 15,821 in 2002.
