I'm open to correction but it must have been roughly 1976 to 1989 when he played.

I think he played from 1967 to 1987, I remember him playing for Harps in 87 or 88, a friendly and there was 20-30 people there

No. I'd say you're thinking of Paul "Ski" McGee there sligofan.
The Fago I remember would have preferred to saw off his own leg rather than play for anybody apart from the Bit O Red when he was at the height of his powers!

Thats the one im thinking of Dong :) In regards to Fagan, thats commitment you just dont see anymore. I think some players in our team who dont need to be named could take a lesson from him when it comes to giving it your all and showing your commitment to Rovers, players like Conor O Grady,Raff and even Alan Keane, they all play football because of commitment and sheer passion for the game. I mention Alan keane because injuries simply arent stopping him from playing, hes already a favourite in my eyes and has been a great replacement for Coleman.

I was lucky enough to see Ski McGee in action for Rovers when he returned towards the end of his career. He must have been 38/39 years old but what skill and touches. He couldn't run too much at that stage but boy could he play!

AH Fago always loves to hear about the winner he scored against Shams in '83 and made them cry.

Wore No.4 in the 83 cup final.

True, but in fairness he was very disappointed to have to go.

Exactly. I said "when he was at the height of his powers" for that very reason Shiba.;)
Was well crocked by the time he got to Harps.

While playing for QPR Ski featured in an episode of Minder when they filmed a number of scenes at one of their games.
