CP O'Brien

I must say that that the emergence of CP o'Brien has had an amazing effect on the cork city front line. For once there is a battle for places and the players are responding (besides Pat Morley who i think should be behind CP and Johnny C and O Flynn in the pecking order) He may be young and lack experience but he plays his heart out for the team which can make up for any skill. A young Johnny C. methinks.

Great news in my opinion. He was a great servant and a good player for us in his time, but what he did to get rid of Mountfield was a disgrace.

Colin p is great. however he did show last sunday that he has a lot to learn. Which i have no doubt that he will. Imagine had morley missed those chances. we'd never hear the end of it.

As for Jonny C. He was, as stated a great servant of the club, but he is definitely past it. Morley still has a bit to yet to get to that stage.

I saw Jonny C at the UCD match and I think that he was with the squad, he was wearing the club training jacket etc as far as I can remember.

I think that Gunther is doing the right thing with CP & Morley. I think that its too soon to start him regularly and Skippy is still a problem to defences. He's playing a more supporting role to Jimmy Floyd M. and giving him a bit more freedom which is clearly helping him this year.

Spot on, Colin has a lot to learn. I think Murphy had the right idea in Galway. Maybe start him in away games at first. God knows, the crowd'll be on his back in no time at the cross if he doesn't score every game, so ease him in.
