Would not be at all surprised if it was called off

I heard a wee rumour that Galway have been unable to field a team recently in the A League. Is this true?

It finished 1-1 actually, according to the official site... :-)

And, yes, the Galway United 'A' v Drogheda United 'A' match was awarded 0-3 to Drogheda since Galway couldn't field a team.

That's not the game he was talking about me thinks.

Also, why did Drogs get the walkover and not Harps and co. that were also due to play them?

The Finn Harps v Galway United game is currently just indicated as postponed, it hasn't been awarded yet. I can only assume that that game was either postponed by mutual consent, or with the blessing of the LoI, or alternatively that there's some kind of monthly meeting where they ratify these results and will therefore be done in due course.

[I am, of course, just guessing though! ;) ]
