Lads, as most of you know a Mayo League referee is going through a tough time at the moment. There is a benefit night for him tomorrow at 10 pm in the Failte Suite.

Can as many of the mayo League's players, coaches, supporters and anyone else who likes to support a good cause please attend. Tickets are 10 euro and available from the door or by contacting anyone from the door Mayo fa. The legendary band "The Phase" will be performing on the night followed by DJ Mad Mick.

As i said, please attend or show your support in some way its for a very worthy cause. He's one of the nicest fellas involved in the game in this county or any county. More details can be found in the local papers.

Great fella. I remember once when I was looking after an underage team having an issue with his decisions. Seeing my discontent after the game he asked me did I want to speak to him. He spend 10 minutes explaining his decisions and I left fully satisfied with his explanations and very apologetic. I just thought that the amount of time he spend changed my whole attitude (bad) from that point on for ever. He could have told me to bog off but he cared enough to spend the time.
