Trouble accessing foot.ie at home

For some reason I can't access foot.ie from any computer at home. I assumed the site was down for several days but it has been accessible from work. Nobody has changed any setting at home to the best of my knowledge. Any idea what it could be?:confused:

I would be checking DNS first.

Open up a command prompt/terminal window and type:


ping www.foot.ie

It should resolve the domain name to the IP address correctly (resolves to 91.103.7.41 here) and you should get a number of replies.

Depending on the result of that test, I would:

test using an alternative web browser (rule out anything wrong in the browser settings) change the default DNS (try the OpenDNS servers) run a traceroute, and if necessary cintact your ISP with results

It's mysteriously started working now after being down a week. Thanks for the assistance though.
