UCD had a few chances in througfhout the game but received a sucker punch when the ball was only cleared to Conan Byrne to run inside and score inside the penalty area. Darren Quigley saved a few times with his legs and a second half chance was cleared of the Sporting line. UCD let Sporting off the hook on this one.
