Just seen the pic. Bit of a brown stain on them!! Was gonna say it was probably dirt from a sliding tackle but don't Dundalk play on synthetic surface?!!! What could it be?!!!:p

Whats the difference between the guys tackle tonight in Bohs match and recent Paul Keegan tackles? Absolutely nothing but still a red card. Woz a defo red but again no consistency from refs.

Good win tonight. First half we were poor wexford deserved their half time lead without a doubt. Quiet enough second half. Wexford began it brightly but the 2 quick goals really killed them and it was comfortable enough seeing it out. McAllister sending off is a blow. Well be missing gim for Monaghan now. 2 shels goals were identical. A long ball forward, flicked on header and volleyed past the keeper. Very direct. Another poor performance though which is worrying.Im starting to think Lamper could be right. On a pitch as good as Wexfords we should have got the ball down and played football. Its no fluke either that the two teams to beat Fingal in the league this season have played the best football. Im not one to question Keelys tactics but the direct play wasnt working tonight. Paddy Madden was great again. Got a goal and was confident on the ball. Baker was poor although why he was on the left is a mystery.

Got the win, for me that means Keely's tactics did the job. He changed it around when we needed to, and it turned the game on its head, and I think we were always going to get back into it. Having said that some of the original selections were indeed shocking.

Internet connection gave up the ghost half-way through there. Back home now, tired but happy after that, the best Blues performance I've seen in a long, long time, and the most enjoyable game.
Strange game in many ways. Fingal are an odd side. They were quite poor as a team at times, but individually they have some players. Kirby was great in patches. Gaynor who I know little about was impressive all through. And Zayed was deadly dangerous all night, can't take your eye off the fecker for a second.
Well beaten they were though, comprehensive. Could have been a couple more goals at each end too!

Yeah like quigley at right mid. Along with Baker on the left. I agree he made the correct changes when needed. Hynes was impressive. I still feel were better served keeping the ball on the deck with the howling wind. Playing against teams like Monaghan and Longford I think Keelys right to go direct but against the stronger teams and on the better surfaces I think we should try and and play a bit.

Fingal: Darren Quigley; - subs: James Hussey

to fire past Hussey

looping header over Hussey into far corner.
Was it Quigley or Hussey who was in nets last night?

Or was Quigley injured early on (and so liable to miss next week's match)?

Enjoyable game in Limerick last night. Very long grass on the pitch, but both sides played good ball. Limerick hammered us first half, rather worryingly. They petered out towards the end of the half, and we started getting much the better of it when we went 3-4-3 after an hour, but then Limerick started finding gaps at the back and could have won it at the end. Draw was fair; either side could easily have won it. Limerick have to host Wexford, Fungus and Shels in this round of games; would be surprised if they got less than four points out of that. Much improved on the opening day.

It was Quigley for the whole game, sorry about that.
Got distracted by a 19th Century tiff I was having simultaneously.

I was at the Bray v Cork game. Have to say that City were mightily impressive. The 2 centre backs Murray and O'Halloran didn't put a foot wrong all game, and the midfield 3 dominated throughout. The way they stepped it up 2 gears at the start of the 2nd half was worrying for the rest of the league. The only downside was Siligailis, who had an absolute 'mare.

Seems to be all over at the Showgies. 2-0, Holmes and a Keane penalty.

That's a bit more like it. Up to 7th for us, and 3 points back to Bray. Just what the doctor ordered.
